As state support has waned, students making tough decisions

Bashash Walio sometimes regrets his decision to attend college. The Western State Colorado University student works 40 hours a week bagging groceries at City Market while attending college full-time. Walio is the first member of his family to pursue higher education in the United States after moving to this country from Ethiopia. He’s financing his college education himself.
