Gunnison Country Magazine

The Gunnison Country Magazine is our flagship magazine and is designed to entice visitors to stay longer and draw those who are just contemplating a visit into our valley.
With a press-run of 40,000 this annual publication hits the streets Memorial Day weekend and continues to be distributed throughout the year to local businesses, hotels, restaurants, campgrounds, RV parks and the Colorado Sate Line Welcome Centers.

Homes Inside & Out

Homes Inside & Out is a biannual publication that highlights everything relating to homes in the Gunnison Valley.

About the Cover: This is the home of the Christophers in Gunnison, Colorado. The watercolor cover was by Jennie Wren. "I chose this house because of the picture perfect front yard," she said. "It is a very spring-like house." Last summer, the Christophers were recognized by the Top O' the World Garden Club, in fact, as having a "Yard of the Week."

Hunting Guide

Gunnison Country Publications annual guide to hunting in the Gunnison Valley. This publication has all the season info, far-out hunting stories, captivating photos, tips and tactics hunters would ever want. Throw in a great mix of advertising to help link visitors with local businesses and you're left with an top shelf hunting guide that hits the bull's eye.

Cattlemen's Days

The time honored tradition of Cattlemen's Days rides back into Gunnison starting July 9, 2009. The Gunnison Country Times once again will capture this favored annual event in a traditional newspaper style format publication containing activity schedules plus highlights of the people behind the scenes.

Artists in Newspapers

For 13 weeks during the summer the Gunnison Country Times features original pieces of art on the third section cover of the newspaper. The mediums vary from print-making, ceramic sculpture, oil paint, graphic design and even some computer animation and music. The AiN catalog is the collection of the original art, bios written by the artists and short descriptions of the highlighted Gunnison Valley event. Almost all the artists have included contact information and it is encouraged to get online, or pick up the phone and ask for a studio tour.

Western Welcome

Year after year new students arrive and upper classmen return to the hallowed halls of Western State College. This annual publciation is published in early July and is inserted, with the cooperation of Western State College's orientation leaders, into the packets each student and family receives upon arrival for orientation. In addition single copies are distrubted in dorms, coffeehouses and eateries all over town.
